Auto-pedestrian accident results in critical injuries

When two or more cars are involved in an accident in Wisconsin, injuries may vary based on the severity of the accident. A car crash becomes more serious when it involves one car and a pedestrian who is not protected by a car. If the pedestrian is not killed in the accident, he or she may still suffer from serious injuries that require intensive treatment and recovery. Medical bills can make a bad situation worse when the person who was injured can’t afford to pay them.

With the help of the automobile driver and several witnesses, law enforcement officials were working to reconstruct an accident scene in which a pedestrian was taken to the local hospital with critical injuries. Officials had not yet identified the cause of the accident.

The presence of the accident reconstruction team and the flares and markers set up along the road are a sign that officials are working to determine who was at fault in the accident. Additional help is being requested from any resident who has any additional information about the accident, and how it occurred.

If the driver of the vehicle is found to be at fault in the accident, the pedestrian who suffered the injuries may be entitled to money from the driver or from his insurance company to help pay for his medical bills and any pain and suffering he endured. Any person who has been injured in an accident, whether they were walking or driving another car, may benefit from consulting with an attorney to determine if they should be given money from the guilty party.
