Drugs or alcohol suspected in fatal Wisconsin crash

It is often the case that a person driving a vehicle doesn’t realize how quickly they can become impaired when they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A night of relaxing and drinking with friends in Wisconsin can quickly turn to tragedy when a fatal car accident occurs. Arrogance may also lead to a person deciding he or she is able to get behind the wheel of a car while impaired, and there are often times where the passengers of the car will pay the price, and a family is left to grieve the loss of a young life.

A 22 year old man faces criminal charges after the truck he was driving crashed and killed his two rear passengers and sent the man in the front seat to the hospital. Law enforcement officials suspect he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when the accident occurred.

The truck swerved off the road and ended up on the passenger side after crashing into several trees, although there was no information regarding whether the women died immediately or were transferred to a hospital for treatment. The driver is being held in the county jail and awaiting charges while police complete their investigation.

Although the man is facing criminal charges, he may also face civil suits from the families of the young women who were killed in the car accident. If the family feels the young man should be held responsible financially for the accident, they may benefit from consulting an attorney about their case and the best way to proceed.
