Both drivers killed in Wisconsin head-on collision

There are a variety of different types of automobile collisions that occur in Wisconsin. These include side impacts, rear-end collisions and colliding with an object at the side of the road. However the type of collision that tends to be the most deadly is a head-on collision. This is because both cars’ have energy that is leveled full-force on the vehicles and passengers inside. In other types of accidents, only part of this energy is felt.

A head-on collision that occurred recently in Dunn County just east of Rock Falls caused the deaths of both drivers and is still being investigated by authorities. The fatal car accident occurred on State Highway 25 at around 5:44 p.m. Authorities say that one of the vehicles involved had veered left of the center line, most likely causing the accident.

It is not clear yet which vehicle had crossed the center line, but both drivers, a 19-year-old from Eau Claire and a 62-year-old from Rock Falls both died at the scene of the accident. There were no other passengers in either vehicle. The Wisconsin State Patrol is putting together a crash reconstruction report and will release the name of the driver who was at fault when it is complete.

The family members of those killed in this accident would be well advised to seek the help of a personal injury attorney. A lawyer can explain their rights, help to protect their interests and work toward getting them the compensation they deserve for their loved ones’ pain and suffering, funeral costs and damages done to their vehicles.
