What Our Clients Say About Us
“In July 2015 I sustained a work related injury to my lower back. I continued to go to work even though the pain was so bad my wife had to put my shoes and socks on for me. Initially, workers compensation recognized this was a work related injury and paid for initial treatments. However, when it was determined I would require surgery and this would be expensive, workers compensation bailed out. This did not set well with me. My employer pays a tremendous amount of money for workers compensation and workers comp is supposed to take care of you in times like this. I know I work hard to do what I am paid to do. I expected the same from workers comp. It’s not like I was looking for some kind of a handout. My injury is something that will cause me pain for the rest of my life. I was going to do whatever I could to rehab and get back to work. But in the mean time I sustained a loss of wages, was forced to use my sick leave and pay my portion of health insurance out of pocket.
Our correspondence began with a brief initial consultation via telephone. Our Attorney from Fitzpatrick, Skemp & Butler, LLC was very professional and thorough in obtaining all information pertaining to my case. They made this process easy for me in that he would either mail or email documents to me that required my review and signature. They then began the arduous task of gathering documentation from my employer, and (3) different hospitals where I received treatment, and possibly more that I am not aware of. Every so often, he would call me and brief me of the case status. He was clear, concise and professional with everything he did. Our Attorney resolved our case in a most satisfactory and timely manner. If you ever have the misfortune of receiving a work related injury, and workers compensation refuses to do what they are paid to do, I would highly recommend the Attorneys at the Law Office of Fitzpatrick, Skemp & Butler, LLC to represent you.”
